Job Description
Overview
Leadership Brainery is seeking a full-time, in-person, Diversity Recruitment Specialist to serve as a spokesperson and lead our talent outreach and engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is a high-energy leader who loves taking initiative and communicating with diverse communities both online and in-person. This role is for an innovator with a strong passion for working at a start-up, developing outreach messaging, recruiting at universities and companies, and driving social change. We are looking for equity-minded applicants who demonstrate a keen understanding of the systemic and cultural barriers affecting marginalized communities.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Advocate for Leadership Brainery’s mission and programs.

Develop and manage our national student ambassador program to increase awareness of Leadership Brainery programs.

Identify, develop, and maintain positive relationships with a comprehensive mix of community partners (institutions, employers, professional associations and community organizations) to build Leadership Brainery’s brand to attract top diverse talent.

Ensure we use trending and inclusive language in outreach and engagement materials.

Advise and implement social media strategies to increase awareness of LB programs.

Collaborate with fellow team members to implement evaluation strategies that measure the performance and impact of our programs.

Develop and apply recruiting metrics/key performance indicators to assess ROI of programs and events.

Research, develop and implement innovative outreach strategies using diversity, equity and belonging best practices.

Leverage data and storytelling to support recruitment and fundraising efforts.

Track and articulate evolving societal trends affecting educational equity, diversity and inclusion, postgraduate access, workforce leadership, nonprofit development, and other areas relevant to the work at LB.
Baseline Requirements

Proven experience in aspects of diversity talent acquisitions.
-
Proficient with program management softwares and technology (Asana, Google Suites, CRMs, etc.).

Proficient in social media engagement and content creation.

Demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to combine big-picture and detail-oriented thinking.

Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, and to represent LB internally and externally.

Experience producing online events using video conferencing and broadcast platforms.

Highly developed interpersonal skills, including business and political acumen, social perceptiveness, tact, and empathy.

Highly developed judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills. Self-motivated and able to work alone or with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate the ability to meet time and budget constraints.

Must be able to travel extensively.

Ability to remain level-headed under pressure, improvise and troubleshoot when needed.

Ability to maintain a high standard of productivity despite frequent interruptions.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Master’s degree or higher preferred.
