Postgraduate Representative FAQ

Visit Dear Future Colleague, click “Create Your Profile,” and select “Partner School” as your user type. Please fill out the registration questions as comprehensively as possible. Once a team member approves your account, you can create your school’s profile.

Leadership Brainery Partner Schools are provided two DFC accounts for admission representatives.

On the task bar on the left of the webpage, click “School Directory” and then “Create School Profile.” Input your institution name, description, and other key information that you want talent to access when they visit your institution page. Make sure to assign your page to the member of your team you want to be linked on the page. This team member will be the first point of contact for talent who visit your institution’s page.

To edit your school's profile, click the pencil icon on the top right of your school's page. It's important that you update your school's page when necessary, especially if you have a staff change. This ensures that talent is contacting the right people about your programs!

A short introductory paragraph about your institution, your diversity and inclusion statement, and a list of your institution’s offered degree programs, with links to your program website and degree program specifics. It’s also important that you list any offers that your institution is providing to DFC users (virtual information sessions, application fee waivers).

Articles about diversity and postgraduate education, your institution’s events, current student or alumni stories, deadline updates, program updates, or interesting articles from your institution.

All of the talent on DFC can be found under the “Network” tab. You can segment your search using the filters on the right side of the webpage. You can filter the talent by area of interest, degree type, undergraduate institution, user type, graduation year, and expected enrollment date.

Feel free to message our talent directly on the platform if you think they may be a good fit for your program. You can also post directly in the "Community Chat" with any events, deadline updates, program updates, or interesting articles from your institution.

All the time! DFC is the only platform that offers you the ability to source underrepresented talent for graduate school 24/7. However, make sure you’re posting and contacting talent around key dates for your institution’s admission season.

On the task bar on the left of the webpage, click “Upcoming Events,” and then “Post Event.” Input all of your event details onto the event page, and choose if you want attendees to RSVP internally within DFC or through an external link. You can add an image and PDF, limit the amount of attendees, and invite a specific audience (i.e. DFC Mentees) all within the event creation page. Make sure to post about your events in the "Community Chat" to boost awareness!
